About Tannyl
A first-pass workspace for a many-tier material.
Tannyl is an independent demonstration product built to make leather sourcing questions more precise before a team engages a supplier, auditor, laboratory, standards program, traceability provider, or lawyer.
The operating idea
A sourcing decision often moves faster than its evidence. Tannyl keeps the product, material, chain, claim, scope, source, date, and limitation together in one brief. The current product runs without accounts, uploads, payments, supplier profiles, analytics, or health or personal data.
The name
Tannyl is a coined brand that echoes tanning, tannery, and material chemistry. Because a coined name is not self-defining, it is always paired with the descriptor “Leather sourcing intelligence.” No trademark clearance, registration, certification status, or exclusive naming right is represented.
Independence
Tannyl is not affiliated with or endorsed by Leather Working Group, Textile Exchange, Kering, the Federal Trade Commission, the European Commission, any supplier, or any linked organization. A link is a route to a source, not an approval.
What changes with an operator
A future operator can add collaboration, document workflows, integrations, training, or profiles only after establishing evidence governance, correction procedures, privacy and security controls, commercial disclosures, conflicts rules, and appropriate legal review.
